Meet Sanaa
Hi! My name is Sanaa Davis-McClain, and I’m the proud CEO and founder of Sanaa’s Family Sweets! I recently graduated from the Illustrious Howard University with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in Entrepreneurship.

Born and raised in Queens, NY, I’ve always had big dreams—and one of them has been to take over the dessert world one pastry at a time. What started as a simple idea and a love for making banana pudding has grown into a thriving family-run business, and I couldn’t be more proud.

I’m now based in California, pursuing my professional dance career, while continuing to support the business remotely. My amazing mom currently runs day-to-day operations back home in Queens, keeping everything running smoothly and with love.
Together, we’re working to grow Sanaa’s Family Sweets and expand to new cities in the near future.

Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting our sweet journey. We truly appreciate you and hope you enjoy every bite!

XOXO,
Sanaa

My Story
From a young age, Sanaa dreamed big and made sure her actions reflected her goals. In early 2014, with the support of close family and friends, she took a major step toward one of her biggest aspirations—owning and operating her own dessert and pastry business. What began with selling her now-signature banana pudding at her dance school quickly evolved into Sanaa’s Family Sweets, officially founded in the summer of 2014 with the help of her mother and sister.
Since then, the business has grown steadily through word-of-mouth from loyal customers, an engaging online presence, and pop-ups at local festivals and flea markets in Queens, NY. The brand has also made a name for itself through beautifully curated dessert tables for weddings, birthdays, and other special events.
Sanaa is a proud graduate of Howard University, where she served as captain of the Ooh La La! Danceline, a mentor for the School of Business, a capstone tutor, and a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. After graduation, she relocated to California to pursue her professional dance career, while continuing to support Sanaa’s Family Sweets remotely.
Today, the business is actively run in Queens by her mother, Tiffani Davis, who plays a key role in daily operations and maintaining the quality and heart of the brand. With Sanaa’s creative vision and digital support from afar, and her mother’s steady hands-on leadership, the business continues to thrive. Together, they are working toward expanding Sanaa’s Family Sweets to other major cities in the near future.
Rooted in community, faith, and an unshakable entrepreneurial spirit, Sanaa continues to move forward with passion and purpose—believing that with resilience, love, faith, and FAMILY anything is possible.
